46.Cactus’s Secret volumes 1-4 by Nana Haruta

Thoughts:I just finished the final volume in Cactus’s Secret by Nana Haruta, It kind of took me a while to read it, a month to be precise. But yeah I finally picked it up and read it>.<

Let’s see, um…the series i felt that it was too short, character progression and story line felt rushed, and there were moments it just felt over dramatic. Though I did like that it made me laugh, yet not always. The main character Miku Yamada was a strong and independent person, which i liked. Then there’s Kyohie Fujioka a.k.a Miku’s love interest, who btw is not the typical male/romantic/bad boy/strong/romeo character i’m use to seeing in shojo mangas. Fujoika is really a dense/dumb, I didn’t really like him.

Summary:Miku Yamada has liked Kyohei Fujioka since middle school, but once she gets the courage to confess, he thinks it’s all a joke. To make things worse, when she gets upset, he calls her a “cactus alien” for being so prickly whenever he’s around.

Rating:2.5/5
