I need to finish kobato, I’ve only got one volume left. Also I need to finish watching the anime.
This is what I got from the library today.
- True Blood:Dead To The World by Charlaine Harris
- Night World Vol 1 by L.J. Smith
- Magic Knight Rayearth(bind-up) by Clamp
- Rosario + Vampire. Season II Vol 5 by Akihisa Ikeda
- Kekkaishi Vol 17-22 by Yellow Tanabe
I started to read Dead To The World today, and I’m already half way done. Should have my review soon.
I read Secret Vampire last year, but never really got to read Daughters of Darkness, and Spellbinder. So I’m looking Forward to them.
66.xxxHolic series by Clamp
Today I finally read the last chapters of xxxHolic, so here my thoughts on the whole series.
Summary:Haunted by visions of spirits and ghosts, Watanuki Kimihiro’s adventures begin when he meets a mysterious witch named Yuuko who claims she can help him with his problem and then tricks him into working in her very unusual little shop.
Review:Okay so right when I finished Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles last year I started to read xxxHolic, because characters from Tsubasa, and Holic would appear in both series. But anyways this series was way different from Tsubasa, it had more to do with the supernatural, and desires of people, aside from Tsubasa which was more about a group of people venturing different world in search of princess sakura’s memories that were scattered into feathers.
The main character Watanuki starts of as whinning, and annoying character, but as the series progresses he matures, and becomes an admirable character. Around when the series starts getting dark you see this change, but not so dark it still had a few comedic relief.
The art was beautiful, Clamp really are talented artist, and also the writing/story was amazing, though there were times that the plot was very vague, which is a habit they have. But yeah you have to read it carefully to understand the whole plot.
So the ending I didn’t feel fullfilled, it left me with a few questions unanswered(had the same issue with Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles.), but hopefully the OVA will give the series a a good ending.
Ending Rating:2/5 The ending was just too vague.
